A zero-zero Italian skin-contact as pretty as the eye can see, and as pure as the tongue can taste. American winemaker Joy Kull caught the grape bug while working as a sommelier and swiftly realized her only option was to travel to a faraway land to expand her mind & dirty her hands. FUN FACT! PURO refers to Joy's choice to make a single variety white from old vines, here showcasing Procanico in the purest way possible! The 80-year-old vines are picked by hand and see one week of maceration (destemmed), and aged for one year in raw cement eggs to synchronize their swimming. RICH as gold, cheese packet, canned pineapple (don’t forget the can), with a lithe, mineral water mouthfeel, apple juice sugars, rocky tannins & childhood reminiscent chalky flintstone vitamin residue. Enjoy alongside a second reading of The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, and maybe some Chinese turnip cakes to get you through to dinner.
