More than just a party wine, we’ll taste through the full spectrum: from light, charmers to deeper, wilder styles. Fruity, zippy, and earthy? We’ll talk about it all. Along the way, we’ll explore farming, grape varieties, and what makes Lambrusco, Lambrusco—plus how it stacks up against other sparkling reds from all over the world. Expect history, cultural revival, and the eternal question: do we pair it with pizza or prosciutto, maybe a chilli cheese dog???
This session will be led by GW co-founder and one of Toronto's most in demand sommeliers, Krysta Oben, and Waterworks GM Alexia David, who comes to us from some of Vancouver's very best restaurants including Michelin-star winning Burdock & Co.

This seated, 75 minute Education Hour takes place in the Waterwork’s East Annex co-working space - a hop, skip and a jump from our gorgeous second location. Enter from Brand or Maud Street and follow the signs. Please note all event tickets are non-refundable.
This event is accessible with easy access parking downstairs and elevators on site. Gender neutral bathrooms are on the parking level. Water and spittoons will be provided. Ample (delicious!) food available to purchase in the hall.
