A locally-grown, citric, fruity and slurp-able rosé for every summer setting. 16 Mile Cellar is a small, family owned winery that was founded in 2010 at the foot of the 20 Mile Bench, near the town of Jordan. They work to showcase the rich soil of the Niagara Escarpment, and bring everything from the climate, to the glacial deposits of the ancient lake right to your glass. FUN FACT! Prior to taking the reins at 16 Mile, winemaker Morgan Juniper worked with natural wine icon Christian Binner in Alsace, followed by a stint as the assistant winemaker at Pearl Morissette! The ‘Renegade Rose’ is a blend of estate gamay and pinot noir, picked together, macerated on skins for several hours to delicately extract colour and aroma, and then co-fermented to make sure their union would be everlasting. Raspberry sorbet, summer peaches, citrus juice and pith, cranberry juice & ebbing minerality. Pour alongside picnics, tailgating and riverside snacking.
