A wine made from a grape you’ve never heard of, full of wild, traipsing fruit flavours. Born into a winemaking family, Baia and her sister Gvantsa have been living and working with the regional grape varieties of Imereti for years. Their home in the western part of Georgia is particularity special for its proximity to the black sea, and a mountain range that shoulders it – trapping all the sea-air, and in the end, cooling the vineyards. 100% aromatic, savoury and regionally beloved aladasturi is macerated for two months to pull hardy tannins and aged in the traditional clay qvevri pots to turn into satiny brilliance. Peeled persimmon, wild fig tree, pomegranate powder, citrus jujubes, honeycomb & sweet n’ savoury spices. FUN FACT! Baia is one of the most well-known and beloved wine projects coming out of Georgia, even making Forbes’ Europe Top 30 Under 30 list for her organic, regional wines - amazing! Enjoy with anything coated in a pepper sauce.
