For ‘Pico’, biodynamically tended garganega grapes were sourced from three distinct crus: Monte di Mezzo, Faldeo, and Taibane, all grown on the volcanic hills of Gambellara. FUN FACT #2! This is one of their TOP wines from their highest vineyard plot! The hand-harvested grapes spend two to four days on skins, and are pressed and aged for one year in large wooden barrels to gain complexity. Spring flower honey, medlar fruit, white pepper and sea salt, yellow apple, almond skin, a field of soft grass, tangerine peel, yeasty richness & spurting volcanic minerality.
