An upending-ly aromatic and vivaciously vegetal zero-zero co-ferment from a classic cult producer in Ontario for the very first time. Originally from Alsace, punk rockin’ vigneron Vincent Marie’s five hectares of organic and biodynamically tended vines in Auvergne are 5 to 120 years old! His terroir is grounded by soils of both ancient and recent volcanic activity, bestowing an expansive and distinctive mineral quality to the 5-7 cuvées he produces annually from it. The long-awaited sequel to the first hit 'Babinou I’, may we present ‘Babinou II’, a co-ferment of blossom-y auxerrois, herbal sylvaner, honeyed chenin, berried pinot, spiced gamay, + more bits and bobs. Yellow tomato, dust storm texture, sucking on a cherry candy, shipwreck minerality, hibiscus lip chap, meadowsweet & even more flowers. Enjoy with glass noodles and red curries.
