The Baud estate dates back to 1742, and today, ninth generation vignerons Clementine and Bastien Baud are making fantastical beauties from their 25 hectares of organic vines. FUN FACT! This beloved wine region is a narrow valley in the hills between Burgundy and Switzerland that was once covered by an ocean millions of years ago! The chardonnay is grown on their famed clay-limestone soils, picked by hand, direct-pressed and aged 10 months with topping up to encourage aromatics and balance. Deep breathe of honeysuckle, underripe apricot, candied meyer lemon, bruised golden delicious, buttered sourdough, roasted honeycomb, walnuts, clove spiced umami & an eternal spring minerality. Enjoy with the ultimate raclette sandwich with cornichons.
