An aromatic, fruit forward and traditional in all-the-right-ways, gently sparkling Moscato d’Asti. Sibling team Alessandra and Gianluigi Bera sit at the centre of the historic moscato d'Asti appellation, in the Piedmontese municipality of Canelli. A family winery which originated in 1785, more recently (the last 40 years) they have been working to facilitate a healthy ecosystem, including getting their organic certification in 2001. FUN FACT! The family was the first estate to bottle and market its own wine in the Canelli region! Grown on ancient marine soils, the muscat à petits grains is hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel, then undergoes the charmat method to create a concentrated bubble. Honeysuckle and jasmine vines, sticky peach pit, tangerine juice + rind, cantaloupe & a stray herb or two. Enjoy with injera and a fragrant lentil curry.
