A bright, lip-smacking zero-zero German light red meant for a chill. Bergkloster is a family run winery, with cheerful, young & passionate winemaker Jason Groebe spearheading their caring approach. FUN FACT! As of 2018 they completely converted to a zero-zero winemaking philosophy, meaning nothing but grapes is in every bottle. Rheinhessen is one of the most beautiful parts of Germany, also called ‘the land of a thousand hills' and its largest wine region. ONE MORE FUN FACT! “Super Leak” means “Super Delicious” in German, and you can’t disagree with cold hard facts! From 30-year-old vines planted on limestone, the pinot noir grapes were gently crushed by foot and ferment in an open vat for 10 days to pull structure and aromatics, while the rest of the grapes were direct pressed for an undeniably juicy lift. Pomegranate paste, rose tea, raspberry jello, rhubarb sour patch kid, stones & a slight woodsy warmth. Enjoy alongside anchovy topped toasts.
