Gamay, Niagara, Canada

Celebrate THIS YEAR’S HARVEST with our freshest Ontario House drop, 2025 gamay. Think of it as a late farmers’ market haul, inspired by Beaujolais Nouveau wines in France, and the wine version of the freshest market veggies. Made by our friends Paradise Grapevine using the traditional Beaujolais Nouveau method, whole clusters of Niagara gamay were fermented whole using the carbonic maceration method to preserve the glorious bounty of frisky flavours this style is known for. Berry blizzard, like blueberries, strawberries and cherries became one, murmur of herbs, ballooning lightness, a twinkle, a spark & a gentle, swaddling structure. Enjoy anytime, anywhere, anyhow, preferably with a chill from dawn til dusk remembering the fall, setting intentions for the spring and thanking nature for her bounty.

Meet 'Rex', our GW House Light Red with a BRAND NEW LABEL thanks to Toronto art star Laura Dawe! Our house wines are a collaboration with winemaker Roberto Echeverría (Rex is their sweet pooch!) and the culmination of our dream to offer delicious and interesting quality wines at excellent price points. In 2024, we melding red and white grapes to produce a fresh and chillable beauty. This deliciously unusual blend includes dense and meaty mourvèdre (60%), supple chardonnay (15%), spiced carignan (10%), plush viognier (10%, but really peeks through!) & spicy païs (5%). The grapes were plucked from granitic, sandy loam soils formed by the granite-riddled coastal mountains, bestowing minerality that pushes cleanly through the inviting tannins. Tongue tattoo edition blue fruit roll-up, whole pomegranate, supple florals, tree stump woodiness, hibiscus puree & a rocky n’ bloody mineral mashup ending. Stick this ripe beauty into the snow, slush or semi-deep puddle to chill down and consume while shovelling snow or folding laundry.

We offer free shipping over $150 in Toronto, and over $250 for the rest of Ontario. Delivery within Toronto is otherwise $12, and across Ontario for $20. To note: someone 19+ must be home to receive the delivery.
