A stunning, crisp and endlessly charming sparkling rosé from a tiny gem of a region. Winemaker Wilfried Crochet resides in Lorraine, a northern region of France that borders Germany, Luxembourg, and Belgium. At this crossroads, he has converted five hectares of land to organic farming and works them by hand for an undeniable closeness to the vines and fruit. Wilfried grew up in Champagne and shows off his sparkling wine inclination through bubbles that match the complexities of Champagne with a wink. ‘Cuvée Crochet NV’ is a traditional method sparkling made with a blend of mostly gamay (90%) with a bit of  pinot noir (10%), aged for 20 months in bottle on the lees before disgorging to bring breadth and richness. We audibly exhailed on first sip and hope you do the same. Strawberry shortcake, green apple meets clementine, lemon juice leanness, yellow plum & a subtle, soothing minerality. Enjoy alongside shrimp and rice dishes seasoned with aromatic spices.
