“DAS JUICE” sounds like something Mads Mikkelsen would mutter to himself while soaring through the air, performing grande jeté after grande jeté. In actuality, it is a joyful winemaking project from James Audas & Tom Sheer. Always made with maximum drinkability in mind, all of their wines are sourced from some of the best organic and biodynamic vineyards around South Australia. A skin contact blend of wafting muscat (40%), peachy arneis (40%), crisp sauvignon blanc (10%) and plush chardonnay (10%). The grapes were all hand picked, fermented separately on skins for 2-3 weeks, then pressed into a long, slow and natural fermentation. The tropics have LANDED with a full spectrum of generous, citrusy fruit salad, fresh thyme, yeasty-chalk-dust tannins & a mineral drive in first gear! Pour alongside snowy picnics or going to the Toronto ballet? Anyone?
