Since the early 1900s, Alice and Cristina’s grandparents have owned land in Piemonte’s famous La Morra and Monforte, traditionally selling their grapes, while making a few bottles for family and friends. Their father, Bruno, carried on the tradition, working the family’s 7.5 hectares. When Alice and Cristina decided to join, they knew they wanted to farm and make wines, learning the land slowly with the help of their father. With a first vintage in 2018, they now produce delicious wines from 3 hectares. We love a giving Dolcetto, known for its deep blackberry fruit, violet charm and cracked black pepper spice. The sisters at CaDi keep theirs in stainless steel to preserve its soft charm. Brambleberry pie, cocoa dust, herb bouquet, mouth-filling silky tannins. Drink while completing a particularly satisfying day of adulting or with burgers.
