Ariane Lesné took over the historic Domaine de Montrieux in the little-known Coteaux de Vendômois, an appellation formed only in 2001 but with a history of wine production that goes back to the 11th century. Over half of the wine made here is from a large cooperative, Montrieux being one of only 13 private producers in the area. Plus, each wine is named after a character from the books of Rabelais, a bawdy French scholar from the 16th century. Gaga a Toi is one of Ariane’s négoce wines, a biodynamic blend of 80% Gamay and 20% Pineau d’Aunis macerated for 8 days and aged in tank. Gamay and Pineau d’Aunis rent a Mustang and take a top-down joyride through the French countryside — fresh cranberry, white pepper, pomegranate pith, rose petals, chrysanthemum juice & dusty, powdered tannins. Like the friend who can sweet-talk any bouncer, this wine is on the guest list everywhere, knows everyone & if truly in a state, will break out a rendition of It’s All Coming Back to Me Now that will have the entire bar on their feet.

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
