A charming and floral Bordeaux-adjacent white for classic leaning besties everywhere. The 27 hectare, Côtes de Duras estate has been owned by Catherine and Jean-Mary Le Bihan since 1999. Côtes de Duras is a small appellation of about 2000 hectares, east of Bordeaux between Bergerac, l'Entre-Deux-Mers and Côtes du Marmandais, which is mainly planted with chenin blanc and the red Bordeaux varieties. The pair grow several grape varieties here as well as organic grains and sunflowers, PLUS they breed Arabian horses! FUN FACT! The Bihan family is one of the founders of the largest organic wine fairs in the world, Millesimé Bio, which hosted 1341 exhibitors in 2026, and you could check out if you are in Montpellier at the end of January! The blend of full n’ waxy semillon (50%), verdant, vivacious sauvignon blanc (35%) and tart, mineral chenin blanc (15%) were all direct-pressed and aged in tanks for 12 months to keep freshness and expression at the forefront. Whipped summer honey, tiny white flowers raining down, mashed pear, almond oil, sugared grapefruit, slightly underripe peach & a damp stroll through your local park.
