More about Mariko! Mariko is a f&b professional (professional eater and drinker), always thinking about what to drink and eat next. She can often be found slurping sake, wine, coffee and water while dreaming up imaginary potato chip flavour combinations. She has worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, working intimately with some of the best producers in the world. Mariko is the owner of Hakko Gakko (school of fermentation), a sake bottle shop in Bloordale, a WSET sake educator and an importer of terroir driven sakes representing producers from off the beaten path who are challenging the way we think about the beverage. We're so lucky to have her for our first ever sake class!
All event tickets are non refundable. BIPOC community tickets available.
