Carmen-Electra-summer vibez, get at us! Last House is a BRAND new to the market, small batch winery situated on the beautiful limestone shores of Lake Ontario. Here they boldly state, “the unique terroir of Prince Edward County will one day be world renowned for growing Burgundian varietals!”, an increasingly common thought among winemakers and growers. With this in mind, they are wholeheartedly dedicated to working their chard and pinot vines as they reflect the unique terroir of Hillier Ward (PEC). Fruit was de-stemmed and partially crushed with 20% whole clusters included in the 25 day fermentation and punch downs done two and three times a day to extract deeper tannins resulting in a savoury, textural treat. Salty pineapple with earthy tones, savoury herbs & clear acidity ringing through. Pour alongside fields of hay & 2pm sun.
