Winemaker Todd Blomberg, an American in Spain, is putting his best foot forward to revive this traditional Iberian Peninsula (aka Spain and Portuguese) grapes, and get it back into peoples daily cups. FUN FACT! He is growing the last 50 hectares of Tinto Velasco left in the world! Practicing sustainable care in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar, Todd also applies algae from the Spanish coast as natural protection for the vines from insects. Black olive, smoked plum, watercress, vanilla-cherry kool aid & suntanned goji berries. Enjoy with a table full of clams arrabbiata and a whole slew of happy cheers-ing pals.
