From 20 and 30 year old vines planted at a 3116 feet altitude on sandy volcanic soils. This organic Nerello Mascalese is all cherries covered in ash, strawberry puree, salted slate, green peppercorns & a spicy touch, accompanied by a lightly tannic texture – can you say “drink up”? Sip out of a thermos as your curiosity takes you further off the beaten path (both physically & metaphysically).
