Jack Lewens, a sommelier/restauranteur from London and Bruno de Conciliis, owner of another Campanian winery, Viticoltori de Conciliis, started their joint project in 2017, with the goal of showcasing regional grapes with little intervention. Their 3.6 hectares of vines in Cilento are cultivated organically and with biodynamic techniques, and a true celebration of ancient local varieties like: aglianico, aglianicone, fiano, falanghina and coda di volpe. ‘Fratelli Felix’ is a blend of floral, nutty, tree-fruity fiano (60%) and citric, mineral falanghina (40%) which were macerated on skins for two precious days to pull a tiny bit of tactility. Amber, scented paper, a salty dip, orange peel, peach yoghurt cup, lemon drop, Bulk Barn dried apricot bin, fresh herb leaves & seashell collection minerality. Pour alongside marinated shrimps on a stick.
