Winemaker Anna Martens sits at the peak of Sicilian low-intervention wineries, with her kind, determined and knowledgable air seemingly unmatched. A BIG blend of (40%) old vine grecani. . .

Textured, concentrated and carrying healing properties (?) this wine is what we imagine would be drunk from the cup of eternal life. Winemaker Anna Martens sits at the peak of Sicilian low-intervention wineries, with her kind, determined and knowledgable air seemingly unmatched. A BIG blend of (40%) old vine grecanico, which includes a large percentage of grecanico dorato (a uniquely delicious variety of grecanico with a debated history of origin!), macerated for one week on skins then fermented in used chestnut barrels. The rest of the blend is a mix of riesling, chenin blanc and carricante, catarratto, minnella bianca, insolia in varying and perfectly synchronized amounts! White grapefruit slushy, strawberry flowers and orange blossom, firm currant acidity & salty kisses on a graphite forehead. Enjoy with a mortadella sandwich for the love of VOLCANOS!
