Born in 2005 out of a Laura Croft-esque passion for the hunt & the finding of forgotten Sherries. If you follow along with the adventures of ‘Equipo Navazos’, Oloroso No. 108 is the sibling to No. 68 as well as No. 98 in the La Bota series. Cared for by Chano Aragón in his bodega located at Calle Olivo in downtown Chiclana. Oloroso means “scented”, and is a darker, nuttier, longer aged & more oxidative Sherry (than Manzanilla for example). 1200 bottles were made from a single cask breaching 90yrs old & solidly prove how noble the wines from Chiclana are. This ancient being is showing sand dune dryness, obscenely delectable concentration, heavenly acidity & addictive bitterness that reminds us we are human. Revere the perfume of a near century old treasure & drink when reflecting on a big (gigantic) decision – perhaps, the sherry gods will favour you.
