Negociant producers use wine from Montgueux to add to blends to add richness, but Lassaigne is truly the broad and creamy yardstick by which all the others are measured. The classic Montgueux Blanc is a blend of Chardonnay coming from 7 different parcels on Lassaigne’s 4 hectare property. Aged in stainless steel with bright citrus flavours veering into low key tropical restraint. Spicy parfum, green leaf, ripe apricot, honeysuckle, Danish butter cookie. Ultra dry and incredible minerality YUM.
