The darlings of the natural German scene, Baden-based Sven Enderle & Florian Moll prove to be anything but one-trick-ponies with their wide and versatile range of wines. Together they farm their land organically and biodynamically for unwavering terroir expression. Yields are kept very low, and the grapes are pressed with a traditional basket press (for an idea, please reference medieval winemaking apparatus). Sourced from 40-50 year old vines planted between two plots, one in mineral-lending limestone and the other in acidity-pushing sandstone. Sunlight through a ruby, glycerol doused brambly berries, mint, mud on roses, raw fennel, cassis & woven mineral plumes. Try with a nice brisket.
