An incredibly delicious, juicy, chillable, but perfectly structured Tuscan red in Ontario for the very first time. In 1992, Ruedi Gerber, a Swiss filmmaker and producer took over an abandoned farm in Maremma, Tuscany, and Sequerciani was born. The mission of the winery is to recover ancient grapes and produce wines without invasive intervention, aka zero-zero, with nothing added or taken away! A 50/50 blend of tart and herbal sangio and heftily-berried ciliegiolo with short macerations and time in cement tanks to focus. A cherry bomb brightness that beckons you forth, silky violets, rough dirt road, tobacco, blood orange, bay leaf & liquorice-y herbs abounding.
