A bright, lip-smacking & unexpected vin-de-soif from the motherland, BORDEAUX. Jean-Yves took over the 1950 established estate in 1998, his wife Christine joining in 2005, and together beginning the conversion to organics in 2006, and subsequently biodynamics in 2009. Today, the couple farms twenty different plots, producing wines that offer a true expression of their terroir. The rare and atypical blend is dominated by herbaceous sauvignon blanc and the more voluptuous sauvignon gris, this is done with the intent of pairing a lively, more palate-expressive (gris) variety to a more aromatic one (blanc). Warm field melon, white grapefruit-ade, donut peach, confit lemon & towering wild sage. Try with a seafood pie!
