A generous, greedy and rare, non-oxidative Jura savagnin to age and upstage. Pauline and Géraud Fromont’s winery, Marnes Blanche, was started in 2006 as ambitious and passionate 20-somethings, who soon came to be known as "the future of the Jura". #nopressure Together they began with a parcel in Cesancey and over the years have accumulated a total of 15 hectares, including rare, 100-year-old vines in Vincelles and Ste-Agnès. Certified organic since 2013, they use many biodynamic practices and an intentionally limited use of sulphur to let their terroir shine. These are bottles that only recently began coming into the province in teeeeny tiny quantities and we are so lucky to have them! The wine is made from both the acid-bringing green savagnin, and aromatic, yellow savagnin (two colour mutations of the same ancient white grape variety), planted on grey marl and limestone scree soils in 2014. The grapes were picked by hand, directly pressed and aged for 22 months in old 300-litre barrels to nest. Almond croissant meats pistachio cannoli, yellow peaches, hay, ginger, dried apricot, buckwheat honey, vanilla bean scraping, mustard seed, wasabi powder, salty mineral water & whole citrus. Enjoy alongside special cheeses, new discoveries and Best Director award winner at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, Javier Ambrossi and his newest film, The Black Ball.
