A historic estate, Mas d’en Gil covers 125 hectares of land spread over five valleys of varying terroirs, which are home to 45 hectares of vineyards, as well as olive, almond and hazelnut groves, grain crops and flourishin. . .

A wildly special, spiced, and savoury Priorat, which handily demonstrates why this region is so revered. A historic estate, Mas d’en Gil covers 125 hectares of land spread over five valleys of varying terroirs, which are home to 45 hectares of vineyards, as well as olive, almond and hazelnut groves, grain crops and flourishing Mediterranean woodland. Winemaker Marta Rovira works with the biodynamic and certified organic fruit from these varying locales to produce delectable regional reflections that could sit on your table every day of the week. Planted between 1994-1998 and grown on some of their higher altitude vineyards with slate soils, the aromatic, mineral grenache and spiced, animalistic carignan grapes were macerated before 10 months in large barrels and 12 months in bottle to layer and concentrate. Cassis and farmers market blackberry jam, florals on fire, chocolate coated, freeze dried strawberry ice cream for astronauts, clove, orange peel, balsamic, black pepper & a rosemary sprig. Enjoy alongside lamb shawarma.
