Milan Nestarec regeneratively farms 24 hectares of certified organic vineyards for his stunning lineup. ‘Postmoderna’ is a non-vintage blaufränkisch made from vines planted between 1972 and 2001, grown on sandy, loess and clay soils across the Moravian villages of Moravský Žižkov and Velké Bílovice. A note from Milan, “A very personal wine in which I return to the different stages of my journey and winemaking philosophies of the last decade. The bottles are produced in limited numbers and the label is sprayed directly by me”. FUN FACT! The final bottled wine is a blend of nine barrels from the 2016-2022 vintages, with each barrel selected and added to contribute its own unique character! Pomegranate meets wild forest berries, salt n’ peppery spice, squid ink minerality, clay, tingling acidity & gentle self reflection. Enjoy while looking at a coffee table book of your favourite post-modern artist. Basquiat, Warhol or Koons anyone?
