A find of a lifetime, if natural wine had collectors cards, Alessandra would be a Golden Pikachu for sure! At 30 years old, first generation winemaker Alessandra Divella farms two hectares of organic chardonnay and pinot noir in Gussago, the north-western Jurrasic part of Franciacorta. Sticking out amongst a handful of producers writing a new history in a region as she is one of the first to farm organically and the ACTUAL first female run estate. FUN FACT! Alessandra makes just under 1000 bottles of this wine! After 42 months on lees, the wine is blended with 25% vin de reserve in the spring for that je ne sais quoi you will feel the moment it hits your tongue. This unforgettably elegant and salty cuvée is named after Alessandra’s father, as it calls to mind his origin in the Adriatic port city, Bari. Golden…pony boy, quietly oxidative, almond cream filled cannoli, saline licks, bruised stone fruit, buckets of minerals & the inability to look away as someone absentmindedly licks their lips. Enjoy while watching any Léa Seydoux film.
