This texture-rich white drinks like the white Dolce & Gabbana suit that Jennifer Lopez accidentally steals in Maid in Manhattan and we’re simply obsessed! From chemist-turned-winemaker Oriol Artigas, this gauzy, old vine Pansa Blanca (aka Xarel-lo) was farmed from 50-80 year old vines in two passes – one to capture freshness and acid, another to capture ripeness and fruit – from several parcels in Alella, a small appellation along the Mediterranean. Macerated for a day on the skins, aged in fibreglass and inox for 10 months and bottled without fining, filtration or sulphur. Fresh and of the sea with notes of fennel lemonade, Asian pear, yellow apple & granite countertop with a zesty, crunchy acid. Quite simply, unspeakably delicious, with so much eNerGY and tension. Pair with a hot, cloudy day to let the sunshine in.
