An amply fragrant, nuanced rosato for freaks ONLY. Lammidia, the natural wine icon AND the Abruzzese word for the charm used to ward off the evil eye, is a well respected zero-zero winery made for lovers of the wild, etherial and adventurous. Started in 2010 by childhood friends Davide Gentile & Marco Giuliani, they’re low-intervention all the way with no tilling in the vineyards, biodynamic practices & absolutely NO fining or filtration. Made from one of Italy’s oldest varieties aleatico (aka. red moscatel), which is hand-destemmed and left on the skins for three days before pressing to keep everything light and lusty. Lychee tea, pruning a geranium and wild rose garden, rhubarb sucker, vintage powder room wallpaper & myrtle. Enjoy while reading Kafka’s Letter to the Father.
