Wildly special wine grape you’ve never heard of alert! From humble beginnings, wife and husband team Marina & Gian Repetto started their winery from a childhood familiarity & deep love of the land. Their 15 hectares sit 240-340 m above sea level with excellent sun exposure for breezy ripeness & clayey-limestone soils that add mineral depth. FUN FACT! Highly aromatic and with typically higher acidity, timorasso is an ancient Piedmotese grape that was on the verge on extinction in the 80’s but was revived and has since seen a resurgence, particularly in grappa production! Notes of petrol and honeysuckle, taking a straw nap, with layers of white figs, bruised peach, citrus punch acidity & a firm chalky grip. Enjoy with hoisin duck pancakes.
