An aromatic, mineral and plush Croatian TREAT for when you learn to sit, speak and give a paw! Testament Winery organically farms 47 hectares of vines in Northern Dalmatia, near the medieval town of Šibenik, focussing on regional delicacies they want to bring to the world. The grapes were harvested early in the morning, pressed gently in whole clusters, fermented and aged on lees for two months, with stirring, to gain traction and weight. Never tried pošip?! Croatian winemaking dates back 2,500 years, and includes 130 unique, regional grapes like this one. FUN FACT! Previously thought to have been brought to Croatia by the ancient Greeks in the 5th century, DNA analysis has shown that pošip was born from two other grapes, household names bratkovina bijela and zlatarska bistrica, both of which are known to have originated on the Croatian island of Korčula!
