Seventh-generation winemaker, Alexandre Gendrier met partner in life and wine, Paulina, on a trip to Quebec in 2007, and ever since they have been working together at his family’s Cheverny biodynamic estate, Domaine des Huards (in the family since 1846!). ‘Prose’ is a blend of complexly fruity pinot noir (84%) and floral gamay (16%) that spends six months on lees juggling its complexities. Generous cherry, luminous acidity, a spicy bite, background florals, raspberry marmalade & underripe nectarine mouthfeel. Enjoy with porchetta!
