A sensorial fresh train ride of a red through forest and fruit. For the first time in Ontario, meet the kaleidoscopic wines of GLOW GLOW! Working in the town of Nahe, between the prestigious Rhine and Mosel valleys, fifth generation winemakers Pauline and Carl are bottling their own unique view of the region. Only the second vintage of the humbly bright ‘Rot’, this cuvée is made of the BERRIED, fungal-resistant hybrid regent, and regionally famous, velvety-floral dornfelder. Harvested just under ripeness (aka more acid, less sugar and therefore less alcohol), destemmed and macerated with the skins for six days to pull gentle tannins. They describe this red as lecker (German for delicious), perfect for everyone’s daily consumption, nothing is out of reach here. A rush of whole pomegranate, skins and all, red cedar meets dill stem, violets, spicebush & salami on the breeze. Enjoy while decorating your bicycle helmet in a myriad of stickers.
