A spiced, complex and umami-touched Piedmont barbera. Cinzia and Fausto Cellario are third generation winemakers, fermenting away in the western outskirts of the Langhe. They choose to exclusively work with organic farming practices and regional Piedmontese grape varieties, while fiercely defending the local winemaking traditions they grew u. . .

A spiced, complex and umami-touched Piedmont barbera. Cinzia and Fausto Cellario are third generation winemakers, fermenting away in the western outskirts of the Langhe. They choose to exclusively work with organic farming practices and regional Piedmontese grape varieties, while fiercely defending the local winemaking traditions they grew up with. Here we have a 100% old vine barbera, hand-harvested, macerated with skins for seven days and aged in French oak for 12 months, before being bottled and rested for an additional six months to be emerge ready for action. A brambly jungle, cherry Dr Pepper, rocky waterfall minerality, carpenters pencil, vanilla extract, violets, leather change pouch & sun-dried tomatoes. Enjoy alongside short ribs, marinated mushrooms and paprika butter dusted corn on the cob.
