An air of greatness seems to follow winemaker Cole Thomas’s ferments everywhere they go, the cuvées eagerly expressing the terroir of small, organic vineyards wrapped in the Santa Cruz Mountains. He’s one to look out for, trust us! A blend of coastal pinot noir plots that sit on ancient marine deposits, are surrounded by Redwoods, moved by cooling winds & carry biodynamic aspirations. Whole cluster, carbonically fermented, and left for 18 days on their thin pinot skins for a tidy tannin structure. Wild strawberry tart filling, rubbed juniper, mushroom gills, black cherry & bewitchingly floral accents. Enjoy while arguing your standpoint on the perfect steak, 1) nothing but flaky salt, 2) nothing but salt and pepper & 3) nothing at ALL. *Or secret option number 4) topped with chimichurri!*
