A frenzied, fruity and mineral rosé pet-nat that’s giving 100%! Born and raised in Vouvray, Sebastien Brunet took over the family estate in 2006, and since has grown their vineyard holdings to about 15 hectares across surrounding villages, and taken to caring for them entirely organically. The ‘100% Pet Nat Rosé’ is a blend of hand-harvested, 60-year-old aromatic, herbal grolleau (80%) and juicy, berried gamay (20%) that came from a co-planted, organic plot in Vouvray. The grapes were pressed whole cluster, fermented in steel to keep the expression bright and true, then bottled before fermentation stopped to capture perky bubbles, and aged in bottle with their lees to plump before finally being disgorged. Strawberry bubblegum, rhubarb snap, lemon drop, fresh melon salad, crushed rocks, green apple bite, a pinkie promise between best friends & gentle green herbs.
