Finally, a balanced, spicy and structured South African red blend that we can truly sink our teeth into! Farmed from the Badenhorst farm and their neighbours, this robust blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Cinsault comes from old, unirrigated & naturally low-yielding bush vines grown on mountain slopes, imparting a lush depth and complexity that beats an already unbeatable value. The juice is fermented in concrete, then aged in a combination of cask, foudres and concrete for 7 months before being lightly filtered and bottled. Supple, spicy & savoury with notes of black cherry cola, sangria brightness with cozy mulled wine spice, an evening smoke & the smell of hands in dirt with fresh, tannic grip on the end. Break out the Hibachi and pair with grilled skewers.
