Farmed from the Badenhorst farm and their neighbours, this robust blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Cinsault comes from old, unirrigated & naturally low-yielding bush vines grown on mountain slopes, imparting a lush depth and complexity that beats an already unbeatable value. The juice is fermented in concrete, then aged in a combination of cask, foudres and concrete for 7 months before being lightly filtered and bottled. Supple, spicy & savoury with notes of black cherry cola, sangria brightness with cozy mulled wine spice, an evening smoke & the smell of hands in dirt with fresh, tannic grip on the end. Break out the Hibachi and pair with grilled skewers.
