Syrah, Santa Barbara County, USA
The wine we would serve to the mamma and papa bear in Goldilocks and the Three Bears before they tucked in for the winter. After years of working and travelling the world together, wives Mireia Taribó and Tara Gomez (also of Kitá Wines!) started Camins 2 Dreams. Farmed organically and with sustainable practices in Rita Hills – a sub-appellation of Santa Barbara County. A blend of two clones of syrah that are naturally-fermented to capture the maximum expression of their budding terroir, but separately to express their individual potential, before blending. Bronze statues dipped in ink, aromas of tart blueberry, white pepper, violet petal smoothness, crushing lavender in your palm & a cured beef bresaola finish. Pair with the cold weather hibernation we are all nestling into.
