The Terroirs Project collaborates with growers from around the world, focusing on sustainable and organic practices in the vineyard and emphasizing minimal intervention in the cellar to express true terroir. ‘Karri Vineyard’ is a collaboration between natural wine importers Les Caves de Pyrene and Australian winemaker Xavier Goodridge, that focuses on producing delectable wines in the famed Margaret River region of Western Australia. FUN FACT! ‘Karri’ is the Aboriginal name for Eucalyptus Diversicolor, and the vineyard is named after the stunning Karri forests that only occur in this part of Western Australia! The vineyard is farmed organically and biodynamically, and located a few hundred metres from the Indian Ocean, making it cool, windy and with a dash of seaspray in the air at all times. Maltesers, pink peppercorns, blueberries and black currants, menthol, eucalyptus, wood, wind chimes & ground espresso coffee bean tannins.
