This lustrous & elegant red from Thierry Germain of Domaine des Roches Neuves comes from some of the oldest Cab Franc vines in France dating back to 1904, imparting some powerful Burgundian finesse and concentration to this occasionally humble Loire grape. Germain was the first winemaker to farm biodynamically in Saumur-Champigny, a testament to the incredible craftsmanship on display here, a perfect calibration between freshness and an alluring, rich depth. Spending 12 months in large oak foudres, this is vivid and precise, an oil painting of an overflowing cornucopia against flowing red velvet. Dramatic swath of blackberry compote, juicy black cherry, prune juice, bramble, Damson plum jelly & a sprig of garden mint. Bring this to your favourite restaurant, order the beef tartare / horse carpaccio & don’t forget to offer your server a glass – it’ll endear you to everyone involved.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
