A howling in the distance, a crunch of leaves & snapping of twigs – the pack is on the move! Innovative young winemaker Tiago Sampaio began this project in 2007 after spending his formative years scurrying around farms & vineyards with his grandfather. Here, vines cling to angular schist and granite slopes that give characteristic minerality. Partially destemmed (but not pressed), macerated for four months, followed by two months on lees and further aging of six months in cement tanks to develop. Tangerine iced tea, mixed florals, cool stones, peach nuzzles, black walnut & tropical punch thunder! Pour alongside your famous nachos, piled high with salsa verde, six cheeses, pickled jalapeño & guac on the side.
