Located in Castelcerino, where the family’s roots date back to the 1300s(!), Cantina Filippi sits at the highest point in Soave. Their secluded 40 acres of certified organic, biodynamically tended vineyards are surrounded by a mix of dense woodland and open meadows. The quietly tart and aromatic garganega is fermented dry and shows beautifully what this all too often manipulated and blended grape has going for it. FUN FACT! Garganega is Italy's 6th most widely planted white grape! Lemon zest tiny bit of va, clover allspice, fuji apple, a tangle of herbs, cooling marine minerality & rolling hay bales.
