Wine & food are simply best buds. Join us to talk dreamy, classic pairings (slurping an oyster with a crisp mineral white!), unconventional pairings that just *work*, what to pair with spicy food (it’s not just riesling and beer!) and beyond. We’ll also examine how sometimes it’s okay to forget all the rules and drink & eat whatever you want! Boost your confidence in choosing wine at a restaurant and deciding what to pour with your next culinary masterpiece (yes, chef!).

In this session, we'll taste four wines paired with small snacks from our friends at the Waterworks Food Hall! Afterwards, we’ll set you loose in the hall to make your own (empowered!) decisions. This session will be led by GW co-founder and one of Toronto's most in demand sommeliers, Krysta Oben who has written the excellent wine lists at Paris Paris, And/ore and beyond and Waterworks GM Alexia David, who comes to us from some of Vancouver's very best restaurants including Michelin-star winning Burdock & Co. These are two card carrying ~foodies~ here to answer any and all burning questions!

Vegetarian, vegan and nut free options can be provided. Please let us know any dietary needs and we will do our best to accomodate.

All event tickets are non-refundable. Free community tickets for BIPOC folks available for every Education Hour. This is at our Waterworks location.
