A verdant, textured and gently spiced zero-zero Czech blau. From the historic Znojmo wine region, Martin Vajcner works with a passion for winemaking and geology – vinifying each plot separately, in a non-intervention fashion, to exhibit his diverse array of soil characters. FUN FACT! Martin’s incredibly long winemaking lineage dates back to the early 1600’s when his kin were known as the “Weinschnitts”, or “vine-cutters”! The 22-year-old blau vines come from paleozoic quartz and ground down quartz sands in the village of Těšetice. Grapes are semi-carbonically macerated for 10 days boosting aromatics before being matured in French oak for 12 months. A fun matchstick reduction, a cloudy smell like humidity or rain, sliced green pepper, pretty buttercream-red-mulberry icing, green peppercorn, celery juice & a magenta taste like if dragonfruit skin was its own fruit. Enjoy with a chopped corned beef reuben stuffed with kraut.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
