Made from 100% floral and citric grillo that is destemmed and pressed for purity. FUN FACT! Unlike many other Sicilian varieties, grillo is not an ancient grape, it was actually created in 1873 by agronomist Antonio Mendola by crossing the regional grapes: fresh catarratto and aromatic zibibbo (aka muscat of Alexandria). Salty lime gatorade, peony, sand pear, white peach, flowering mint and sage, clay & chalky minerality to close out. Enjoy with shrimps doused in garlic butter, battered and fried shrimps or shrimps fresh off the fire.
