A shimmering, mineral and tension filled aligoté ready today and for years to come. Château de Rougeon is a sixth-generation family estate located in the village of Bissey-Sous-Cruchaud, in the Côte Chalonnaise. Today, Isabelle and her children Joseph and Florence organically work the stunning, polyculture domaine. The aligoté grows at a high altitude of 400 m on soils of limestone and granite – a rarity in Burgundy! Lemon concentrate, white flower garland, the finest banana cream pie, white pear, chips and chunks of minerality & Hawaiian spring honey. Enjoy alongside a Rhode Island clam chowder.
