An unequivocally herbaceous, earth-shaking, tongue-quaking liquor straight out of a history book. GWI’s first aperitif and digestif producer is here, buongiorno Chianti Vergano! Tomasso and Pietro Vergano are second-generation makers, creating small batches of balanced and unique elixirs out of a teeny facility in the backstreets of Asti, Piemonte. These earthly delights have been made from a base of natural wine sourced from many of our grape-growing heroes, and infused with carefully chosen, regionally significant and internationally treasured botanicals, herbs, citrus & spices. The ‘Centerbe’ recipe was born around out of medicinal purposes in 1200 (!!!) Italy, owing its name to the fact that the original recipe probably included the use of one hundred herbs. FUN FACT! It was also used as a remedy to cure the plague before being made into a liquor! Vergano utilizes the unique offerings of 30 herbs ranging from bitter wormwood, to aromatic thyme, sage and verbena, to the pretty and powerful fennel and anise seeds. Enjoy over ice after a fire sign birthday dinner when you need to simmer down just a wee bit. #viniaromatizzatiFOREVER

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
